These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between the service provider ("Technician") and Fixify ("Platform"). By registering or using the platform, you agree to comply with these Terms and all related policies including the Privacy Policy.
1. Platform Definition
Fixify is a digital platform connecting customers with maintenance service providers. Fixify does not employ technicians or directly provide services.
2. Independent Contractor
Service providers act as independent contractors and are not employees or partners of Fixify.
3. Registration Accuracy
Providers must submit accurate and updated information. Fixify may suspend accounts with incorrect data.
4. Verification
Fixify may request documents such as ID or licenses. Providers confirm all documents are valid.
5. Responsibilities
- Provide professional service
- Arrive on time
- Complete agreed work
- Treat customers respectfully
6. Job Management
Once accepted, the provider is fully responsible for completing the service.
7. Payments
- Inspection fees may be authorized
- Payments captured after approval
- Split payments between provider, platform, and taxes
Bypassing payments is prohibited.
8. Payment Account
Providers must create a payment account (e.g., Stripe) and complete verification.
9. Ratings
Customers may rate services and actions may be taken for poor performance.
10. Prohibited Use
- Illegal or fraudulent activity
- Bypassing payments
- Off-platform transactions
11. Cancellation
Cancellation and refunds follow platform policies including inspection fees.
12. Disputes
Fixify may mediate disputes and hold payments until resolution.
13. Liability
Fixify is not responsible for service quality or damages. Providers bear full responsibility.
14. Taxes
Providers are responsible for all taxes and financial obligations.
15. Suspension
Accounts may be suspended or terminated for violations.
16. Force Majeure
Fixify is not liable for events beyond its control.
17. Amendments
Fixify may update these Terms at any time.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the operating jurisdiction.
